FLIP TORTILLA, OBLIQUE KITCHEN GLOSSARY

‘Flip Tortilla - Oblique Kitchen Glossary’ celebrates the kitchen as an ever - floating heterotopia carried by odours and memories; whipped spice, sweat and grease. The glossary will be performed during the course of five hours; a dinner presented as a symphony of utensils, conversations, sound and substances in formations followed by rules, guided or stirred blindfolded, reminiscent of the repetitive act of preparing meals in a restaurant. ‘Flip Tortilla - Oblique Kitchen Glossary’ departs from Gabriel Garcia Marquez’ ‘One Hundred Years of Solitude’ and Brian Eno and Peter Schmidt’s deck ‘Oblique Strategies‘.
