‘It Had Something to do With the Telling of Time’ uses fiction as a tool for exploring new ways of thinking about and understanding space. In between language and image, fiction interweaves the words of the author with the reader’s personal experience, allowing space to materialize in the imagination.

A screenplay in seven acts, the book uses descriptions of physical spaces extracted from a selection of seven novels. Each act is a conversation between one of the fictional spaces and the narrator or protagonist of the original story.
