It was a great honour to contribute with this years prizes for the Jan Hanlo Essay prize. Literature and writing is close to my heart and it was a great pleasure to gift my bins to these two wonderful writers.

— Wytske Versteeg ontving met Waar de Jan Hanlo Essayprijs Groot 2025.
— De Jan Hanlo Essayprijs Klein 2025 voor het beste nog niet eerder gepubliceerde essay bij het thema ‘Wij worden steeds kleiner’ ging naar Hannah Boekestijn voor haar essay ‘Het jaar waarin ik beroemd wilde worden’.
